About

Welcome to Martin Sullivan
Photography & Design

The world shows off its many wonders every day but it takes an artist’s eye to be ready to capture Mother Nature’s offerings. Having been an exhibiting artist since the age of 7, Martin views his surroundings almost like they are ready to be framed. His discerning eye is constantly evaluating the changes in light and shadow, his mind is composing the scene and his camera is prepared to capture the exotic essence of whatever location he is in.

Taken when I had gallery space in Prescott Arizona. The rodeo rider is an oil painting I'm still working on. It seems I'm always adding or changing something on it. One day I'll call it done... just not yet.

Welcome to My Visual World

Anchor 12

An artist from the age of seven... mainly self taught with some refinement at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. Was a premier sign designer in New Hampshire for over 10 years (producing thousands of sign designs from rotating stainless steel bank signs to 30 ft. high internally illuminated 10' x 30' x 4' custom hi-rise signs) before answering the call of creative ad agency work.

Lived and worked in Papua New Guinea for seven years during the 80's where I had my own Ad Agency with clients that included Burns Philp, the largest Island Importer in the South Pacific, Talair, the second largest air line carrier in the country, Rothmans Tobacco plus major hotels and tourist companies. Over a cup of coffee with the Electoral Commissioner of PNG, accepted the challenge to create a Voter Education Program for the people living in the jungles of the county. That amounted to over 75% of the 3,800,000 or so of the inhabitants. A year and a half later, the largest third world successful voter turnout recorded in World Bank history at that time (well over 70%) proved out the hard work, planning and execution of my

teams programs. Since then, I have worked at Ad Agencies in Daytona Beach, Tallahasse and Las Vegas, designed magazines for both Homes & Land and Grassroots Motorsports as well as a wide variety of specialty magazines, mainly advertising and associations oriented.

From scratch, I have produced well over 11,000 pages of graphic design up to now, and have added professional photography (commercial, industrial and portraiture) to the mix of services that I offer to my clients. Anyone interested in having me create work for them, should email me at martinsullivandesign@gmail.com. I'm not limited by location and will drive and/or fly to and from any client that has a need for my services. I also offer ad design staff training as well as consulting on company advertising programs.
